ELREC T
Versatile IP or Resistivity System
Features
General
The Elrec T is truly a crossover instrument, bridging the
capabilities of both a resistivity meter and an IP receiver. As a resistivity meter it
offers all of the functions and capabilities as described for the
Syscal
R2. As an IP receiver it offers the functions and specifications of the R2,
as well, but as a two dipole receiver.
As a resistivity meter, functioning in the
transmitter/receiver mode, the Elrec T may be powered with either a 125, 250, or 1200 Watt
converter. For a complete description of these capabilities please refer to the Syscal R2
specifications. The Elrec T offers the same receiver specifications for resolution,
stacking, and memory operation. It is also compatible with the Intelligent Node automated
switching system.
For deeper investigations the Elrec T may be used as a
conventional IP receiver, offering two dipoles. In the receiver only mode it may be used
with any time domain transmitter such as the VIP 3000, VIP 4000, or VIP 10000. In this
mode the Elrec T offers the same specifications as the Elrec 2. Synchronization is
automatic with a 10 ms sampling rate.
