RAMAC /
GPR Shielded Antennas
Unshielded
Antennas

Primarily used for medium to high resolution radar surveys. The shielded antenna construction makes the antennas especially suitable for urban investigations or at sites with a lot of background noise. Like all parts of the
RAMAC/GPR system, the shielded antennas are modular. The antenna electronics, the pulling handle and the measuring wheels are interchangeable between the different antennas. This reduces cost for owning and upgrading a system.
Common applications for the RAMAC/GPR shielded antennas include utility, void and UST detection as well as archaeological and road surveys, quality assurance and concrete
investigations. These shielded antennas offer modularity at its best and are very
efficient tools for subsurface mapping.

100 MHz shielded antenna
The shielded 100 MHz antenna holds the lowest shielded
antenna frequency commercially available. It is used for medium and deep
radar surveys giving medium to low resolution. Suitable for geological
and geotechnical applications.
Dimensions: 1.25 x 0.78 x 0.20 m, Weight: 25.5 kg
250 MHz shielded antenna
The shielded 250 MHz antenna is a general purpose
antenna. It is commonly used for utility, UST and void detection. The
250 MHz shielded antenna delivers medium penetration depth and medium
resolution. One of the most popular antennas.
Dimensions: 0.78 x 0.44 x 0.16 m, Weight: 8.0 kg |

500 MHz shielded antenna
The shielded 500 MHz antenna is probably the most popular general purpose GPR antenna ever built. It delivers medium to shallow penetration and good resolution. Most commonly used for utility detection and road surveys.
Dimensions: 0.5 x 0.3 x 0.16 m, Weight: 5.0 kg

800 MHz shielded antenna
The shielded 800 MHz antenna delivers very good resolution for shallow investigations. The interchangeable electronics make the 800 MHz antenna an economically good alternative to the high resolution 1000 MHz antenna. Road mapping and concrete investigations are typical applications.
Dimensions: 0.38 x 0.20 x 0.12 m, Weight: 2.6 kg

1000 MHz shielded antenna
The shielded 1000 MHz antenna is a high resolution antenna used for high quality radar measurements. It is commonly used for concrete, reinforcement studies and for road mapping and quality assurance. It has built in electronics and is small and light-weight to enable hand-held surveys.
Dimensions: 0.24 x 0.16 x 0.12 m, Weight: 2.4 kg
