Careers Position Title: Electronics Technician Job Description: Working in our technical department, you will handle a variety of responsibilities which include the following: Testing and maintenance of geophysical equipment Repair of equipment, according to repair procedures, to component level Provide technical support to our customers Perform demonstrations or training of equipment either in the office or field Complete reports documenting activities and time to ensure accurate customer billing and internal records Required Skills & Experience: An Electronics Technician/Technologist Diploma or similar 1-3 years of experience in repairing electronics Hands on experience with electronics testing and soldering equipment Must be able to work well independently and in a team environment Strong communication skills, both written and oral, are essential Ability to multi-task and prioritize conflicting demands effectively under time constraints Proficient in MS Office Knowledge of geophysical equipment, theory and applications considered an asset Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset Must be able to travel periodically Interested applicants may forward their resume along with salary expectations to careers@terraplus.ca.
